I failed the bar exam.
An average of 50-60% of applicants do not pass the Bar Exam, many due to the anxiety associated with poor preparation and the compounded stress from the resulting lack of retention.
To maximize your results, we focus your study on exactly what you need to know to pass the exam and reinforce that with ongoing coaching from licensed attorneys, tutors and legal professionals sharing their tips, hints and tricks.
Our materials state general rules and exceptions, provide guidance for issue spotting and have hints and examples throughout. We base our content on black letter rules, the basis of what should be stated in your essays.
I am an international Student
Assuming a base knowledge of the American legal system, we are an ideal solution for international Students and Foreign trained Attorneys who traditionally have had limited accessibility to quality bar review courses.
Registration takes less than a minute and you are ready to begin studying. In addition to providing online resources that are available 24/7, we have arranged special shipping rates that allow us to ship CDs, DVDs and Printed Books anywhere in the world at no additional charge to you.
I am working full time
While not the ideal study situation, working full time while studying for the Bar Exam is not only doable, many of our members are in this exact situation each year and pass the first time out.
Our materials are designed to maximize the efficiency of your studying to ensure you get the most out of your allotted time. With pre-set study schedules for even the most challenged multitasker and resources that are available when and wherever you are, BarOutlines.com is the ideal source for time challenged preparers. Study on the go with our lectures on your iPod or other portable audio player or pick up a book copy of the materials to review during commutes and down time.
It has been years since I passed Law School

Our materials state general rules and exceptions as well as guidance for issue spotting with hints and examples throughout. We base our content on black letter rules, the basis of what should be stated in your essays.
Can I take the Bar Exam without going to Law School?
In California, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington, an applicant who has not attended law school may take the bar exam after study under a judge or practicing attorney for an extended period of time.
This method is known as “reading law” or “reading the law”.
New York requires that applicants who are taking the exam must have at least one year of law school study. (See Rule 540.4 of the Rules of the Court of Appeals for the Admission of Attorneys.)
Maine allows students with two years of law school to serve an apprenticeship in lieu of completing their third year.
How often are materials updated?
p
Materials are updated twice a year, on average, to accommodate for changes in the law or the exam. Your purchase includes online access to all updates for 1 calendar year from registration.
What is the source of your materials?
Our materials are licensed directly from the NCBE and local state bar examiners as well as inclusive of public and private details regarding previous exams, published laws and specifics that have been confirmed for future exams.
How many pages are your outlines?
The number of pages varies based on the complexity of the subject, but average 10-15 pages. We error on the side of quality over quantity in ensuring you are studying exactly what will be tested on the exam.
Page numbers can be found to the right of each subject’s name in parenthesis (#p)
